So who are the people who switch on the lights every morning and ensure we live up to the promises made to you?



David Amor – Managing Director

David joined the marketing services industry some 20 years ago after he left the Group Management Services department of The Forte Group.

He was operations director of a mailing house before starting his own business. David is also MD of group company First Move and has worked with clients including Walt Disney, Hertz Car Rental, Newsweek and Olympia & York.




Amanda Bird – Call Centre Manager

Amanda has worked at Henley for over 10 years progressing from data entry clerk to call centre manager. During this time she has overseen the expansion of the call centre and the introduction of new technologies as well as handling accounts such as Benecol, James Villa’s and Imedeen.







Julie Hackett – Production Manager

Julie’s been with us for 12 years, working her way up from temp to production manager. She oversees all mailings and order fulfilment projects, scheduling the work through the day and taking responsibility for quality control. At the end of each day when, as usual, every mailing’s been despatched on time, she hands over the mailings and documentation to the Royal Mail.





Damain Killoran – IT Manager

Began in IT with a property developer, maintaining clients and land registry. After a spell in the NHS working in the IT and data archiving departments, Damain moved on to Henley where he has worked for the last nine years progressing from computer operator to IT manager. During that time he has implemented many access systems and has worked on clients data using MS Office. His responsibilities also include maintaining Henley’s servers, PCs and printers.



Sally Maharg – Client Services Director

Sally’s direct marketing career began 14 years ago with the database management division of Alpha Numeric.

With HMS for 10 years, she has worked with a diverse range of clients including Vauxhall Motors, Barclays Bank, Reed Exhibitions and Credit Suisse First Boston.




Ian Sowerby – IT systems designer

Ian has 30 years commercial experience, principally in Access programming.

Whilst at Henley he has implemented a number of fulfilment systems including all aspects of order processing, stock control, credit card processing, invoicing and reporting. Before joining us he worked for many years in developing and implementing manufacturing and financial systems.

Current and previous clients include Reed Exhibitions, Disney, Intuit, Credit Suisse, Framlington, Sports Relief, Morgan Crucible and The Environment Agency.

Ann Page – Account Manager

Ann has worked at HMS for the past 20 years in a number of varied roles. During this time she has accumulated vast experience in all aspects of the marketing solutions we offer. If there is a puzzle to be solved, she will know where to find the answer. Her past employment has been client facing in a variety of customer services companies.






B Ahmed – Account Manager

Ahmed, as all his friends call him, has been with Henley for 4 years. Originally starting in the call centre his flair for technology soon saw him deeply involved in the establishment of IVR telephone services. He has also worked very closely with several of the companies key clients. Recently moved into Client Services Ahmed is making his mark and his enthusiasm is making him even more friends.





Neil Newman – IS Manager

Neil joined Henley in October of 2005 having worked previously for 3 Direct Mail/Marketing companies. Starting his career in the industry 7 years ago, Neil started off as a printer operator and soon moved his way into the data department. He has gained extensive knowledge in all areas of print and data handling from the bottom up, which has greatly helped him in his role as the IS Manager.
